IGNITION SWITCH > REMOVAL

1. REMOVE STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the steering column assembly (Click here).



2. REMOVE STEERING COLUMN UPPER WITH SWITCH BRACKET ASSEMBLY

  1. Fix the steering post assembly in a vise between aluminum plates.

    NOTICE:
    Do not overtighten the vise.

  1. Using a drill, drill a hole in each of the steering lock set bolt, to insert a screw extractor.

  1. Using the screw extractor, remove the steering lock set bolt and remove the steering column upper with switch bracket assembly and steering column clamp upper.



3. REMOVE IGNITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 2 screws and ignition switch.
